    You don't have to cap the wilds that low. Remember that Kalos Victory Road houses wilds up to Level 60.

    Well the earlier discussion set the level cap at around 45. Do we want to change it now?

    We never set a wild level cap. Some people were under the impression we were going to, but the majority didn't like the idea.

    I ended up suggesting we slow down the curve late in the region, so it'd be harder to take freshly caught mons and place them into the party with no drawbacks (the canon games give new catches a disadvantage because they have no EVs, something the TRPG doesn't have at all), and most people were okay with it...or at least didn't come out against it. /shrug

    I say we just keep going with the wilds as we have been. So the final level cap might be around 50-55 ish

    Okay, no offense, but getting careless in order to rush these changes out faster is a bad idea. An unpolished product would only need further work done on it down the line.

    ...But we've also gotten stagnant over the last week, so in the interest of making some progress:

    (8th Gym City)
    -Gym Leader: TBD
    -Level Range: 51-54
    One final challenge before Victory Road and the League. We can finalize the leader's character, type specialty, and roster when we get to thematics.

    And if anyone has a valid argument for splitting the Caverns into two sections, or sees a potential problem in the previous post, feel free to speak up.

    Does it seriously need to have such high requirements. I don't like the idea of splitting it in two, but I don't think we need to make it drag this much either. It's not actually the final dungeon of the region, nor was it intended to be. So why do that now?

    I'm fine with the Toba / WestAmaya bit.

    Also, for the record rushing is not a good thing, however we /need/ to operate a bit more quickly.

    7th gym levels are fine, would cut Crystal Caverns to 7/4 (1/1 more than ZFW, which is plenty large in its own right, and both have their own respective sidequests to pad the length a little/lot) and keep it as one area, 8th gym levels are fine.

    I like 8/6 better. There's no reason to make us add unnecessary wilds onto every list. It's not serving anyone.

    8/6 is fine with me, which should put the E4 levels at something like...uh...

    64/64/64/64/66 (x4), 67/68/68/69/69/70 (x1)

    Assuming we did the "choose your own path" Unova/Kalos Elite 4 thing for Amaya.

    I get it's the E4 but their levels seem to skyrocket after the 8th gym

    I say if Phil has a plan then we don't worry about the elite four levels and just start on doing the real stuff (ie wild lists, side quests, ect)
