    For Teleport the X was sort of a placeholder that we could change later.

    And for Gravity I like the penalty for the Flying and Levitating Pokemon for 5 turns.

    Should Trick Room do anything? I think that it could make the Pokemon 'change directions' so that the leader is now the chaser and vice-versa.

    Thoughts are in red. I also like the suggestion that trick room reverses the directions and gains, but that should only last for a short amount of time before reversing (5 turns).

    Also, I'm realizing that using base speeds make gains while stationary and stuff insane, so I'm going to propose having multipliers on distance gains for speed levels.

    Just an example.
    The formula is (X)(Distance Gained/Turn)
    Chaser is stationary. X= 5
    Leader has +6 Speed. Chaser has -6 Speed. X= 4
    Leader has +5 Speed. Chaser has -5 Speed. X= 3.5
    Leader has +4 Speed. Chaser has -4 Speed. X= 3
    Leader has +3 Speed. Chaser has -3 Speed. X= 2.5
    Leader has +2 Speed. Chaser has -2 Speed. X= 2
    Leader has +1 Speed. Chaser has -1 Speed. X= 1.5
    Leader has +0 Speed. Chaser has -0 Speed. X= 1
    Leader has -1 Speed. Chaser has +1 Speed. X= -0.5
    Leader has -2 Speed. Chaser has +2 Speed. X= -1
    Leader has -3 Speed. Chaser has +3 Speed. X= -1.5
    Leader has -4 Speed. Chaser has +4 Speed. X= -2
    Leader has -5 Speed. Chaser has +5 Speed. X= -2.5
    Leader has -6 Speed. Chaser has +6 Speed. X= -3
    Leader is stationary. X= -4

    That's just an example, so the numbers aren't really well thought out or anything.

    I like those numbers. And we can always just release Chase Battles like this to see what needs to change. The Stationary -4 could also just be put in for Paralysis and stuff.

    Oh, and once all of this goes through, I vote that we try to make a calc tab for it. (Although, that is completely up to the coders of the calc.

    And Telekinesis is actually a negative move. It makes the target basically have no evasion and all moves hit regardless of accuracy (minus OHKO moves) So I would still vote that Telekinesis and Magnet Rise slow down the Pokémon or at least just keep Telekinesis slowing down the Pokémon.

    I'm fine with the other suggestions everyone has made as well.

    As for Teleport I would say the Pokémon is able to change the difference by adding or subtracting any number between 0 and its Level.

    Anything else to discuss with Chase Battles that we have missed? (Besides OI moves, I'm going to look through those now.)

    EDIT:

    OI MOVES!

    Distance Punch: I feel like this move should follow Special rules, even though it is a physical move.
    Allure: Distance between the two becomes 0
    Lava Mine: Works like Entry Hazards, but I feel like it should be nerfed for Chase Battles. Like only having X% chance of working?
    Sky Bomber: (And also High Jump Kick/Jump Kick) If the user misses, then the distance should change, but I don't know to what yet.
    Tractor Beam: (And Block and Spider Web) Keeps the Pokemon in its place for 1-2 turns.
    Shock Wall: Doesn't work in Chase Battles


    Those are the only OI moves I found but I don't know if there are any that I missed (there probably are)

    Maybe we can have a chance (small one but chance) to teleport in front of the other pokemon/trainer to change it to a regular battle OR teleport to a random place (that you have already been) or going in front makes them lose speed; cause then they have to either slow down or ram into you and fall or keep going

    Sorry but that seems to make chase battles more complicated than they already are, I think we would be better to keep teleport with that flavor.

    Distance Punch: I'd say it has special range, but it closes the distance to 0 rather than leaving the distance wide.
    Allure: Works.
    Lava Mine: 25%
    Sky Bomber, etc: Can be used from special range, but distance gained will change to the stationary multiplier for the user if there is a miss.
    Tractor Beam, etc: Works.
    Shock Wall: Maybe more like Lava Mine in that it'll only work some of the time.

    How bout Hi Jump Kick have a smaller chance of hitting or not hitting cause well its hard to hit a moving target and since it hurts the user when it misses it could stumble a bit and lose some speed?

    Jump Kick and High Jump Kick would fall into the same category as Sky Bomber.

    Anyways, I approve of all of the proposals.

    Does anyone have any problems with the set up of Chase Battles right now? If not that will probably get implemented pretty soon in the TRPG. And once this is done we can move on to Frontier brains and everything.

    Well, unfortunately,

    the next step here is...

    making movesets for the LC pokemon, as we are making an LC facility as well.
