Amaya

The newest region to open its doors to international trainers, Amaya offers both rookie and experienced trainers the chance to explore the vast region and partake in the new League. From the eerie Zen Forest to the vast Savan Desert and the rugged Siber Mountains, there are sure to be many mysteries and adventures awaiting trainers!

  1. Vernedge Town

    The first stop for trainers starting their adventures in Amaya, Vernedge is a quiet, coastal town by a river. The main Pokemon lab is located here, run by Professor Acacia.

  2. Route 501

    A mostly flat field with tall grass and only a few trees. A worn-out path goes directly from Vernedge to Wattalia, but a few ambitious trainers opt instead to head into the even taller grasses to the north in search of a few rarer Pokemon.

  3. Wattalia City

    As Amaya's largest center of fishing and marine study, Wattalia and the coastline are home to many different species of water-typed Pokémon. The city is partially built into the ocean, with the buildings sitting upon huge steel beams planted into the sand below.

  4. Crystal Bay

    Crystal Bay gets its name from its sparkling, clear waters as well as the shimmery shells and stones found on the seafloor there. Many aquatic Pokemon make their homes here among the pristine waters. (This area may be skipped if players chose to pay for a ferry ticket across the bay instead.)

  5. Conch Town

    Conch Town is a small fishing town, and has historically been a major trade stop between Wattalia and Forredge. The first gym of the Amaya League is located in this town, and the gym leader, Ferris, is always eager to face new trainers!

  6. Route 502

    Route 502 is another grassy and mostly flat route, but it does have more trees and vegetation, especially as it nears Zoa Village and the edge of the forest.

  7. Zoa Village

    A small village dating back several hundred years, Zoa Village lies on the edge of the Zen Forest, and its villagers have a deep spiritual connection with the forest.

  8. Forest Path

    A small path runs on the outskirts of the Zen Forest between Zoa Village and Forredge City. To the east the area is still relatively clear and grassy, but to the west the thick, massive trees of the Zen Forest loom overhead.

  9. Forredge City

    Forredge City is a large, industrial powerhouse in the northeastern corner of the Region, thus it has seen the most (albeit still very restricted) trade and commerce with other nearby Regions. The Pokemon Gym features a variety of grass Pokemon and greenhouses from the neighboring Zen Forest.

  10. Zen Forest East

    Zen Forest is a dense, dark forest teeming with a variety of Pokemon and mysteries to boot, especially around the Zoa Temple, an ancient, massive Temple hidden deep in the middle of the forest. The eastern side of the forest has a few winding paths and streams to follow without too much difficulty, but the western half is much more rugged and dense.

  11. Sky Harbor

    A beautiful resort town on the northern shores of Amaya, Sky Harbor offers tourists top-rated hotels and plenty of sight-seeing along the shore, especially with the famous Dragon Reef so close.

  12. Dragon Reef

    Located off the coast of Sky Harbor, Dragon Reef is a large coral reef and ocean cave said to be home to many rare dragons. The area is protected and restricted from most tourists; only those with permission of the Gym Leader may enter.

  13. Route 503

    Route 503 is a mostly flat, grassy route running along a large river. As trainers leave Sky Harbor, the large, imposing wall of Imperia City can soon be seen on the horizon.

  14. Imperia City

    The largest city in Amaya, as well as one of the largest in the world, is Imperia City. In the past it served as the capital of the region, and the massive wall built around its border provided protection to its many inhabitants. The Auri Society also flourished here in the past, though nowadays they are rumored to have turned to hidden, underground dwellings beneath the city.

  15. Imperia Fields

    The Imperia Fields encompass the vast area of land surrounding the walls of Imperia City. A small lake that serves as the source for the Quartz and Amethyst rivers lies near the southern wall of the city, and to the west the land gradually becomes more sparse and dry as it nears the Savan Desert. Many trainers, merchants, farmers, and travelers can often be seen around the fields, as well as many wild Pokemon.

  16. Savan Desert

    The Savan Desert is a vast area covering much of the western area of Amaya. Many archaeologists, researchers, and adventurous trainers wander into it in hopes of finding the ancient Auri Ruins and the great secrets said to be hidden there. There are also rumors of a beautiful oasis hidden in the desert, but its exact location has never been pinpointed.

  17. Route 504

    Route 504 consists of a small path leading through the Imperia Fields and southwest to Tala Village on the western shore. It's a rough, hilly route, and Mininja can often be seen training by lifting and throwing large rocks found throughout the area.

  18. Tala Village

    A large village found on the western coast of Amaya, Tala village sits at the base of the northern Siber Mountains. A large, old lighthouse sits on a rock jutting into the ocean. Dierdre runs the gym in the village, which is situated in an old ceremonial hall.

    The cape off of Tala is a prime fishing spot in Amaya, and home to many aquatic Pokemon. (This location is Optional)

  20. Route 505

    Route 505 is a rocky route through the Siber Mountains. It eventually splits in two different directions, with one path leading to the Magnet Mines and the other leading to the Toxic Tunnels. A small rest house lies in the middle of the split of the paths that hands out safety masks to trainers heading south towards the Tunnels.

  21. Toxic Tunnels

    A group of tunnels running slightly farther south than the Magnet Mines, the Toxic Tunnels leads to the southern side of Tuya Village. Poisonous gases from the nearby volcano occasionally seep through the tunnels, so trainers are given protective masks when traveling through.

  22. West Amaya

    Located on the Western Side of the Amaya Region, this area is a newer path that trainers have been taken on their way to the Elite Four. Maybe strange new Pokemon have also been discovered on the West Side of the Amaya.

  23. Magnet Mines

    The Magnet Mines consist of a series of tunnels running through the northern Siber Mountains. The closest volcano exhibits a strange electric field that has had lasting effects on some of the native Pokemon.

  24. East Amaya

    The "traditional" path of Amaya. This will have you go along the eastern side of the region and face of against many strong foes and maybe even explore some mysterious areas before you face the Elite Four.

    A series of icy chambers and tunnels makes up the Crystal Caverns. Large ice crystals hang from the ceilings and climb across the walls and floors of the Caverns, and the deeper you travel into the Caverns, the colder and icier they become...

  26. Terminus Village

    This unique village is located under the Siber Mountains. By using artificial ways of lighting their village, the people here have survived down here for decades. This village also is home to the final Gym Leader, Gregor, who uses Ground Types to help maintain the city as well.

  27. Siber Pass

    The Siber Pass serves as the Amaya Region Victory Road, and is arguably the harshest area in the region. The winding path cuts through the Siber Mountains, occasionally through caves and tunnels or along steep cliffs, and finally ends with a stretch of tunnel under the water to emerge at Victor Island.
