Alola

The Alola region is made of up four natural islands and one artificial island. It is a popular resort destination and attracts a lot of tourists from other regions. In Alola, humans and Pokémon coexist in a very close relationship, and a culture has developed that is different from other regions.

  1. Melemele Island

    This island is located in the northwestern seas of Alola. The people here worship the Guardian Deity, Tapu Koko. The island itself is run by its Kahuna, Hala.

  2. Akala Island

    Located in the northeastern seas of Alola, this island is run by its Kahuna, Olivia. The people here worship the Deity Pokemon, Tapu Lele.

  3. Ula' ula Island

    This island's home is in the southeastern seas of Alola. It's home to the Pokemon League, establish about 10 years ago thanks to Professor Kukui. The Kahuna here is Nanu and the people pray to the guardian Pokemon, Tapu Bulu.

  4. Poni Island

    This mostly uninhabited island is in the southwestern seas of Alola and is home to the Guardian Deity, Tapu Fini. Many powerful trainers are based on Poni like the Kahuna, Hapu. There is also a massive temple constructed to praise the Legendary Pokemon of the region.

  5. Aether Paradise

    The Aether Paradise is a very large floating structure that floats in the center of Alola. This artificial island was the center of controversial events 10 years ago, but the President of the paradise, Gladion, has now turned it into a haven for Pokemon and Trainers alike.
