Alrighty. I know I have barely been on this week, mostly due to being sick and exhausted. So, I've only really been on at work and crashing when I get home... and god dammit I have a bone to pick. We need more clarity when segueing from one event-like thing into another. At first, I wasn't even sure if I could even enter the Solipsus thing because it was right after the other stuff was wrapping up a bit that shit started to fly. So, at first I didn't even think I could join. However, I then found out that it was a team thing. I figured "Well shit, I can't do that either, because I'm not on a team." So, I started asking in the cbox and people were all "Well, lone wolves are just joining up with other teams for it." I'm not a lone wolf. I'm totally unaffiliated at the moment, and I kept restating this numerous times. I tried to get an answer, but being at work, getting to the admins is limited due to the time frame. Now, here's the kicker. I FINALLY find out I could just link up with a team even though I'm unaffiliated... THE DAY AFTER SIGNING UP CLOSED. I didn't even know how to approach a team about it or anything (yeah, being uninformed sucks, comes with not being around due to sickness and exhaustion as mentioned above). So, now... after being gone for three months due to not having a good computer, after already missing two events, I get to miss another due to lack of clarity. Be more clear, because I swear, if there is anything cool to be gained from being involved in this... you will all hear my rage... and you know damn well I'm not lying. Sorry for being pissed, but I am. Be more clear to people who aren't associated with a team OR the lone wolves yet. Not everyone makes their mind in a snap. Thank you. Oh, also, I am at Tarocco and would be eligible to join a team or just go lone wolf, just in case no one checks that. :3 Edited by Meggles, Feb 5 2010, 08:54 AM.

This isn't a whole big event, it's kind of just a quick little thing to bring about the end of the Zeralis storyline, mostly roleplaying stuff so that it isn't just some huge update to read to end it all. I was under the assumption that anyone not in a team was simply a "lone wolf", and I did specifically state that lone wolves PM a team leader to request to join. I don't know what else could have been said to make everything more clear, I'm really sorry. You can always send me or one of the other admins a PM if you have any questions/suggestions. |

*jumps in*I realize we didn't clarify well enough that non-affiliated people could join, but there is a specific line in the announcement that said how to contact teams about it. I can even pick it out, if you need me to. Other than that, all I can say is that we'll try to be more clear in the future, but I was under the same assumption as Novi about Lone Wolves. Clarity. So that I don't flip out, I'm just going to say that. Clarity. You need it. I don't really PM people, I prefer to ask them straight up. I asked TMM numerous times and he couldn't give an answer. But he was the ONLY one on at the time. So yeah, CLARITY. I'm just going to be upset for the duration and probably after if, like I said, there are any cool rewards. So yeah. |
