Gettin' Ready for the Big One So, we've been hard at work getting ready for the impending transfer to the new site. We don't have an ETA yet, but we could be ready to move as early as next weekend, and as late as... sometime after next weekend. We originally intended to include some polls with this topic, but the stuff we wanted to poll on isn't ready yet. Instead, we have a few new screenshots to share!  The navigation system for the main dex. The OI-Dex will feature a similar navigation, as well as the griddex.  A screenshot of the forums using the default skin. The OI skin isn't ready just yet. Stay tuned for more! Back to the Drawing Board I think I'm running out of cheesy lines for these art sections.... For this week's concept art, we go back to Phoenixsong. Make sure to keep checking back for updates on the move! -Trainer X -D:  Weather Report - 6/20-6/26 Orange Islands - It stays hot and sunny, and begins to get more humid as the week stretches on and the tropical storm from Zeralis approaches.Kanto - A cold front makes its way through the continent, cooling temperatures and making high winds.Johto - The same cold front affecting Kanto pushes through Johto as well, bringing similar conditions as well.Hoenn - The storms from last week move out, giving way to warm temperatures and dry conditions.Sinnoh - The rainstorms from last week make their way out, and Sinnoh gets its first bit of summer with dry conditions and warm temperatures.Zeralis -  The tropical depression from last week has evolved into a tropical storm at this point, and will bring frequent downpours and winds of up to 100 mph (161 kmph) throughout the week.Swarms Clefairy are swarming in Mt. Moon! Ralts are swarming in Route 102! |

Whoa, dex navigation looks like it'll be sweet. Try to add in the thing that Psypoke has - type in a Pokémon's name and its page comes up. That's really convenient - if they didn't have the individual pages for stats and moves I'd use that rather than serebii. |

It is nice. And different, too, which is also nice. But I think I'll second the request for a name search, if that looks like it might be in the cards anytime soon; most of the more advanced online Pokédexes (Psypoke, Veekun, Legendary Pokémon, etc.) have them and they're a lifesaver, and while a list of names would be more helpful for newbies who have no idea what the OI Pokémon names are, it'd be really helpful for mods and older players to be able to just jump right to the page they want without having to scroll through the lists. |
