This isn't good, the Pressure both the birds are putting on Mewtwo and Thunderos is adding up, thankfully Mewtwo is pressuring them back, but this could be very risky. "Zeus do it again!" |

Mewtwo managed to bring down the great Phoenix with a blast of psychic energy while Zeus charged into Lugia. The remaining silver bird, still pressured by Mewtwo, misfired his Hydro Pump, and nearly fired it directly into one of the large machines in the room. Kal this is it, we need to do our best here or its all over. I can't do much to them because they are both ghosts but I can provide cover for what you need. Mewtwo eyed Millenio psychicly, a good plan. Not expecting the switch, Giratina released a mighty Earth Power, hitting the newly switched in Tsunamic who thoought dark thoughts. Mewtwo quickly formed a barrier around himself as Giratina lunged forward to claw at him viciously as Millenio reappeared and struck Neptune with a powerful force of shadow energy. Mewtwo decided to go basic now, and that was a good thing because Millenio was going to use Shadow Force. Shadow Force was disabled... wasted move. Giratina disappeared to use its own Shadow Force though, which caused Vollav to miss and cause miss recoil to itself. Perfect would be a Normal type (such as A&I's Marpine), but Light-types work OK too....or they would, if Giratina had targeted your Pokémon. Instead, it struck Mewtwo, who promptly forgot something - possibly what it was going to do that turn. But prior to all of this, Millenio had cast an eclipsing veil over the whole INDOOR arena (>_>), powering up Giratina's Ghost-typed attack. And, finally, the lumbering Thunderos thundered forward and slammed into Millenio while charged with electrical energy, causing Sparks to fly. Even for a legendary, that had to hurt. [44] 157/157 [-2 Accuracy - Pressured][60] 138/254 [-2 Acc - Pressured] [+2 Def/SDef][60] 124/306 [-1 All Stats] [-1 Accracy - Pressure][60] 91/234 [-1 All Stats][-1 Accuracy - Pressure] [Miracle Eye'd] [Shadow Force disabled][Eclipse Veil - Turn 1] (Effects of Eclipse Veil, for those who are too lazy to check: Summons Darkness for 5 turns. Kal I can't keep this up for much longer. There ghost attacks are going to be even stronger now and I won;t be able to handle many of them. If you can take out Millenio we have a chance. I'll go after Giartina but you need to take out Millenio. I nodded as Mewtwo hovered in the air trying to keep balance as he looked for Giratina. "Zeus use another Spark on Millenio!" OoC: 133-153 |

Millenio screeched and dove towards Mewtwo... And missed. The psychic Pokémon launched a blast of concentrated psychic energy at Giratina, but in the darkness, the ghost dragon was able to get away and vanished into thin air. Fortunately, as Millenio was still trying to recover and re-attack Mewtwo, Zeus charged forward, his glowing horn illuminating his path, and finally struck the dark bird down with his powerful Spark. OoC: Need the exp added, Novi forgot. Great job Kal, only one left but this blasted darkness is causing problems. I can't hit him in this, If he can keep vanishing like this we'll be in for rough ride. He's right this darkness is giving Giratina a huge advantage. But I have an idea. ooc: exp adding now. Giratina once again struck Mewtwo hard, who then managed to connect with a powerful Psychic, coming inches from bringing down the beast (I genuinely calc'd 123 damage). Then your Tsunamic came in, though still quite weakened it still managed to form a miniature storm front in the building, obliterating the ghostly veil overhead. Kal Giratina is on the ropes! We've done it! He can't win now! I smiled, then looked at Neptune who was trying to stand, he had takena beating in this battle but had held his own. "Now Neptune finish it with Ice Beam!" |

Girtina hit Mewtwo, who then died. And then Neptune hit Girtina... who then died. Maybe they should have written a will? Anyways, EXP for you, and I'm leaving this update rather boring so that you can spruce it up. |

Giratina let out a final roar before it collapsed on the ground and disappeared. Mewtwo had one hand on its chest as it healed itself from the attack Giratina had delivered. The machine then dimmed and Melody was released from the mechanism. "Kal? What happened?" "You were forced into that machine and a nightmare was put into your head which caused powerful Pokémon to appear which James and Sarah planned to use for who knows what. But the first Pokémon to be freed, Mewtwo here is on our side, he helped me defeat the Pokémon and free you." "Wow that's really, wow." Hurry we need to get out of here, I don't think those two will be happy with what has happened. But before we leave I must do something to this machine. Mewtwo turned to face the machine then formed a large Shadow Ball and fired it at the machine. He formed another and continued until the machine looked utterly broken. That should do it. Now le- The machine suddenly began to beep then exploded sending the three of us flying into the wall. The entire room was up in flames, and the entire building was shaking, and a loud beeping noise was sounding throughout the building. "Uggh what was that?" I said as I groggily stood up. It seems that this building was rigged to self destruct if the machine was destroyed, we have to get out of here now! Mewtwo floated up into the air lifting Melody up with him, then the three of us ran through the door that had been blown open. We ran into a long hallway with red warning lights flashing and beeping. We quickly ran through the hallway into the next room. "You've destroyed my work! I spent countless hours working on that machine and I'm not going to let it go to waste like this!" screamed Sarah. I couldn't see her but then I heard the gunshot. The bullet struck me in the chest sending me back. I crashed into the ground and felt an insane amount of pain I reached up to feel my chest but felt the blood spilling from my chest rapidly. "Kal! Kal listen to me! Can you hear me! Kal!" Melody had her arms around me and was trying to get me to stay conscious. I could already feel my limbs weakening and my vision was going dark. Mewtwo suddenly glowed blue and turned to face Sarah as she fired again, this time as fast as she could. Mewtwo held up his hands and with ease shattered the bullets. I saw faint blurs of my six Pokémon as they all stood to face Sarah and protect me. (Melody) I shook Kal as his eyes began to close I had wrapped my sweater around his body to try and put pressure on the wound but it was no use. Mewtwo had stopped a flurry of bullets and Kal's Pokémon had emerged from their Pokeballs and were preparing to attack. Stay back! Protect your trainer from harm! Use your strengths to keep him alive for as long as possible! I'll stop Sarah! But you six need to protect Kal and Melody! "But Mewtwo I have to get revenge for Kal he is my trainer! I am his first Pokémon! I shall not let his attacker go without taking a scratch from me!" I can't stop you Neptune. So be it you and I shall fight Sarah, the rest of you help your trainer! Mewtwo suddenly glowed blue and with a flick of his wrist Neptune was illuminated by the same blue glow. Using my psychic powers I have boosted your powers! We share many of the same traits now but I cannot hold this up for long so we must finish her off now! Neptune flew at Sarah slamming his tail into the rafter she stood on but she was surprisingly agile and jumped away, she then turned and fired a bullet at Neptune but he flew out of the way and shot a jet of water at her. Mewtwo then shot a Shadow Ball at her followed by ripping the air apart with psychic waves. All of the attacks were of no use though as she seemed to dodge them all with amazing ease. Gaia stood in front of Kal using her tail to put pressure on his wounds. Horus was flying in front of everybody using Detect to block any stray bullets from striking the team. Zeus was trying to keep Kal's pulse going by using Charge on him and it was working to an extent. Odin was using his psychic powers to try and keep the wound closed and to prevent blood from rushing out but it wasn't doing much to stop the bleeding. Apollo was using the heat from his body to keep Kal warm and keep him awake. Together the five Pokémon were doing their best to keep Kal alive but for how long would there efforts work? Mewtwo then struck Sarah finally hitting her with a Shadow Ball sending her crashing into the wall she was in front of. "Aah, I wasn't expecting that. But alas I must be going, I have toyed with all for long enough and now I must be gone before this place explodes. Farewell." Sarah suddenly floated up into the air and a small bit of the roof was torn off and she floated above the building then was whisked away. Something had been helping her. Mewtwo flew over to us and placed his hand on Kal. Kal though I hardly know you, you have shown me that you want to help this world from evil such as Sarah and James. As such I shall do whatever I can do save you. Even if it mean's I must sacrifice myself to do so. Good bye Melody, and everybody else. (Kal) I couldn't feel anything and my vision was all dark, suddenly a bright white light appeared in the distance and it slowly began to grow brighter. So this is the light everybody talks about when they are about to die. I guess this is it. I just wish I could have done more in my life. Kal! Your time is not over yet! Mewtwo? What are you doing here? Your time is not over yet. I believe in you, that you have great potential. I shall take your place. You shall live on and I shall die, it is one of my powers of being a cream I can do things not natural. Now when you wake up you must get out of here. Good-bye Kal. Wait Mewtwo! What do you mean? I suddenly bolted upright my hand clutched to my chest. The bullet was gone along with the wound, and the blood had vanished. Mewtwo was nowhere to be seen. Good luck Kal... "Kal! I can't believe your all right! But what happened to Mewtwo?" "I'll explain in a bit, right now we need to get out of here before this place explodes." I was about to leave when I heard a noise from the middle of the floor. I quickly ran over and noticed a misplaced tile. I lifted it up and inside were a bunch of cages with Pokémon inside of them. Lots of Pokémon at least five or more. "Horus! Apollo! Help me move some of these Pokémon out of here hurry! We can escape through that hole in the roof!" "Wait Pokémon? Kal what are you talking about?" Melody asked as she ran over, Horus and Apollo flew ahead of her. "Inside of cages are a bunch of Pokémon we need to get them out before the building explodes!" I quickly pulled most of the changes out of the underground room and handed then to Apollo and Horus, but then I reached four large cages which I had no methods of moving. Inside were four large Pokémon but it was to dark to see them so I threw Pokeballs into each and grabbed them and jumped onto Horus's back and he flew into the air and took off, the Pokémon held in the hands of my two birds. They flew us all to a smaller nearby island as the small building exploded taking out of the island it was on. I sighed and looked over at Melody as I sat down and looked at the Pokémon in the cages. I sighed and looked over at the Pokémon who had been trapped in the changes then threw forward the four Pokeballs I had captured four Pokémon in. A large group of Pokémon now stood in front of Melody and I. Horus and Apollo had carried a Magby, Eevee, an oddly colored Dratini, a Brizaur, a Fercoa, a Telazure and a Flish. The four Pokémon I had captured were standing behind them, an Absol, a Lapras that was colored the same was as the Dratini, a Rhyhorn and the largest of all, a Forresaur. All the Pokémon suddenly backed away as the Forresaur let out a huge roar and slammed a vine into the ground causing the ground to shake. Apollo and Horus were flying in front of everybody now, ready to attack the Forresaur if it proved to be hostile. It suddenly lifted up its head and let out a loud roar, and its large flower exploded sending a large cloud of powder into the air right where Apollo and Horus were flying, sending them into a deep sleep. I stepped back and pulled out two more Pokeballs and tossed them down, releasing Neptune and Odin. "Neptune hurry use Ice Beam! Odin Psybeam!" Neptune fired off a thin beam of ice, sending Forresaur back a step but it then charged forward plowing into Neptune with a double-edge attack but Odin stopped the mutant with a Psybeam before it could do anymore damage. "Good job guys." I said as I walked over to Forresaur. "Hey Forresaur? I don't want to hurt you. I'm just here to help. Can you talk to me?' "Of course I can talk, just because I'm not normal doesn't make me any different from the rest of you. But you don't sound like that other boy. You sound different much more calm. What is your name?" "My name is Kal, I have no wish to harm you, I just had to get you out of that building but now everything seems to be fine. What do you plan to do?" "Your my trainer now. You captured me to get me away from the blast. Apu, Absol, Lapras and I are your Pokémon now." Forresaur then laid down in the grass and closed his eyes. "I'm going to rest for a bit, if you need me I'll be listening." I turned to face the other Pokémon and then looked at Fercoa for a second. Something seemed odd, like I'd seen this Fercoa before. Then it dawned on me. "Quetzal? Is that you?" "I was wondering when you would notice me. How have you been?" "Great, well aside from what just happened but how did you get captured by James?" "I was on my way to Zeralis. My trainer saw how much I wanted to go so he released me, but before I could get their James found and captured me. Anyways allow me to introduce everybody." Fercoa, pointed to everybody and said their names then sat back down and yawned. "Anyways, none of us have trainers, and we would all were wondering if we could be your Pokémon? It wouldn;t hurt you but it would help us all greatly." "Umm, wow of course. I just need to capture you all." I pulled out a number of Pokeballs and one by one captured them all and watched as they whisked away to the PC system,I returned Forresaur, Lapras, Absol and Apu and watched as they were also whisked away. "Now Kal can you explain what happened?" "Oh yeah forgot about that sorry. Anyways Mewtwo appeared to me and said that he could take my place, I would live and he would die. He sacrificed himself so I could live, and then he was just gone." Or so I thought. "Mewtwo? Where are you?" I shouted out loud as Melody looked around to try and see him. I am still very much alive, but without a body. My spirit resides within your body, and I can communicate with you and others from within your body. Now to get off this little island we'll need to use Horus and fly north that will take you to Sunburst Island. Melody and I both nodded and I woke up Horus then returned Apollo. He quickly flew us south straight to Sunburst Island. I went into the Pokémon Center and healed my Pokémon then switched around my team a bit and headed for the Sunburst Caves, a powerful Pokémon was said to lie within the caves and I wanted to see for myself. Phantern disappeared in a wisp of smoke. 25% exp to Ghobra who grew to Lvl 34 and learned Payback which it was supposed to learn last level-up. OoC: Can you take the "#new" out of your profile link. I continued through the caves as I heard the sounds of water droplets and could see crystals beginning to form, along the sides of the caves. I continued my descent through hoping to reach whatever was at the bottom. OoC: 2/5 |

The lake was glittering as the crystal illuminated the otherwise normally dark cave. Coupled with the crystal clear water the cave was very well lit. But lurking beneath the water was a large living crystal, a regular Pokémon that had submerged itself within the water and grown different from the rest. Suddenly something broke free from the water, a small crest began swimming around the water much like a shark's fin, but it was rather small whatever it belong to wasn't so big if its fin was that big. Unfortunately the water and its body allowed it to remain invisible under water. I stepped closer to the lake's edge and the crest still swam around the center of the lake. I put my finger into the water and sent a small ripple out. It was very cool water, but it was also warm at the same time. I took off my shoes and walked into the water, but the ripples reached the monster below, and I soon saw it rushing at me not slowing, it was going to come a ground! I jumped out of the water and stepped back until I was a safe distance from the cave. I gulped as the monster suddenly broke the surface and crashed into the shore letting out a savage roar. It looked like an Onix but its body was all crystal blue like the crystals that lined the walls, and ground, it also seemed to be able to thrive in water so its typing must not be normal. "Better hit this thing with something a regular Onix would take neutral damage from. Telazure use Psybeam!" Edited by Dragonfire, Jul 26 2009, 11:07 AM.

I pulled a small black and yellow sphere from my bag and pressed a small button enlarging it and then looked up at the giant monstrous snake. I recalled Telazure to my side and threw the Ultra Ball at the Crystal Onix. |

I walked out of the caves after a long but worthwhile adventure within the caves, having succeeded at capturing the Crystal Onix my businesses on Sunburst Island were finished. I was preparing to walk off the island when I heard a voice in my head. Kal aren't you forgetting something? "Woah Mewtwo don't scare me like that! You've been so quiet I almost forgot about you. Anyways what did I forget?" Your Pokémon? Neptune, Apollo, Gaia? "Oh crap how could I almost forget them. I almost walked out of here with Forresaur, Telazure, Wadjet and others that wouldn't have been so productive. Thanks for the reminder." Yes, no problem. Now I have one thing I must ask of you before you leave the island, it won't take long just a few minutes, I'll explain in a bit. "Alright, now to get my team and head out for the final gym badge on Kumquat Island!" ***** A few moments later I stepped out of the Pokémon Center with my regular team ready to go. "Okay what did you want me to do?" There is a boat heading into the port. The boat is from Kanto, and it departed from Fuschia City, where the Safari Zone is. A wild Scyther got out and made its way onto the boat, it had become reckless trapped in the cargo hold, I suggest you head over there and try to calm it down before it attacks innocent people. It is wild so you could capture it to use later. "Okay sounds easy enough. Thanks for the heads up." ***** I stepped onto the pier and saw the boat approaching in the distance, and within minutes it had arrived at the dock. A bridge was lowered and I quickly ran aboard. and ran to the cargo hold. I pulled a Pokeball from my bag to try and capture the Scyther before it could do anything but unfortunately it wouldn't seem that way. I looked at the cargo hold as the two wires holding it shut were pulled and within seconds the Scyther madly broke free from the boat. It was huge nearly three times the normal size of a regular Scyther. They normally stood at about 5 feet tall but this Scyther stood nearly 13 feet tall. It was massive and menacing. "Mewtwo I thought you said this would be easy!" I wasn't aware it was this big! But its power is the same if it were small the only thing that has changed is its size, it should still be very easy to capture, just be careful now that it doesn't get off the pier. "Okay then. Now let's see what would be the best method of weakening this thing. Odin use Energy Ball!" I threw forward my shiny frog and he immediately shot a green ball of energy at the giant rampaging Scyther knocking it off the boat into the water. It then reached up with its scythes and pulled itself back onto the pier and tried to make a dash for the city. "Neptune Yawn it!" I threw another Pokeball this time letting out Neptune who let out a large yawn which Scxyther followed slowing down but it shook it off for now, and slammed of its scythes into a small warehouse destroying it with ease. It then turned to see a truck turning down onto the pier and slashed it in half but then the yawn took effect and Scyther took one more step before collapsing and falling a sleep. I threw a Pokeball at the giant and within seconds it was captured with ease. It was teleported to my PC where it would stay until I could get some more information on it. For now though I was going to the next route and my gym badge. |
