Diglett Cave serves, as the name implies, as the home for all the Diglett of the Kanto Region, as well as the occasional Dugtrio. Route 11 connects Vermillion City with the long boardwalk extending the length of the eastern coast of Kanto.

After backtracking to Cerulean City, this route leads from there to the pitch-black Rock Tunnel. The end of the route holds many Electric-typed Pokemon, as well as a Pokemon Center.
