General Rules: 1. No trolling. This includes spamming, posting insulting or pointless posts or topics, and posting false information. 2. Limit posted image sizes to no more than 500x500. Oversized images will be converted to a link without prior warning. Do not advertise anywhere but in your signature. 3. Use good judgement when choosing user names, avatars, signatures, and post content. Inappropriate content will be removed without prior warning. If you would like your user name changed, contact an admin asking them to do so. 4. Do not post the same topic in multiple forums. If you are unsure of where to post your topic, post it in the General Chat forum and say that you were unsure of where to post your topic, and someone will move your topic for you. 5. Do not double post. If you would like to add something to your post, simply edit it. You may only double post if nobody has posted in the topic for twenty four hours. 6. Do not offer to supply or post links to commercial software, illegal software, MP3s, CD Keys, ROMs, Product Keys, and Serial Numbers. Do not post full copyrighted articles, just post a link to them instead. You may ask for help with a ROM or Emulator. 7. Ask your questions on the forums. Staff members have other issues to deal with, and will most likely not answer if you send them a private message. 8. Do not post in topics where the last post was over a month ago. 9. Only post in English. Try to use proper spelling and grammer, as it makes posts easier to read. OITRPG Rules: 1. Don't PM a moderator for an update unless their signature says that you can. It can be very annoying to receive twenty PMs a day asking, "update me please?" Even if the moderator's signature says that you can PM him, try to avoid doing so unless you haven't been updated for forty-eight hours or more. 2. Don't post in other people's adventures unless you are a moderator. This should be a given, but people still manage to do it. Don't. It ruins the RPG for the player, and makes more work for the moderators. 3. You cannot use the Mikan Island Plaza until you have reached Tarroco Island. Also keep in mind that you can't use it unless you're in a city or unless you have installed the PokeDex Upgrade. Delivery men are good, but they won't delivery your package if you're in the middle of the ocean! 4. You cannot join a team unless you have reached or passed Tarroco Island. Remember that once you join a team, you cannot quit. If you take a Lone Wolves promo, this binds you to being a lone wolf forever. No refunds! 5. Do not bump your adventure if you were the last person to post in it. Be patient in waiting for the moderators to update you. If a non-moderator posts in your thread, don't post complaining, simply wait for a moderator to clean up the mess. You can also make an exception to the "don't PM the mods" rule and PM the moderators, asking them to delete the post for you. Advertising and Affiliation Rules: 1. You may only advertise in your signature. In doing so, you can only advertise for a site that you either run or are an active member of. AKA no advertising for porno sites, ROM sites, etc. 2. You cannot degrade the Orange Islands or any of its members, Pokemon, or other components in your signature. You also cannot degrade any other site in your advertisement. 3. If you'd like to affiliate with the Orange Islands, you must PM Trainer X requesting so. The other administrators will just refer you to him anyway. Note that if you would like to affiliate, you must have at least 10 active members in your forum, and you must have at least 25 total members. 4. Do not degrade OI affiliates on these boards, or on any of the affiliated boards. This includes flaming, trolling, etc.
